Diagnosis
Inspection found a cracked pop-up body, a partially clogged nozzle, and an incorrectly aimed spray pattern.
Work performed
We shut down the zone, removed the damaged head, cleaned the connection, installed the replacement at the correct height, and adjusted nozzle arc and distance. We then tested the full zone for pressure and coverage.
Components installed
4-inch pop-up spray head, adjustable-arc nozzle, threaded riser extension, and PTFE tape.
Final result
The leak was eliminated, zone pressure recovered, and water returned to even coverage without unnecessarily spraying the sidewalk.
